50 women and their families benefit from the program against gender-based violence
INPAVI Granada and Malaga has conducted the program "Equality and Prevention of Gender-based Violence to Women Gypsy" during the months of January to August 2024, we're doing this program with the goal of providing women gypsy key tools to prevent gender-based violence and strengthen family communication.
50 participants including women and their families were able to benefit from this program through a series of practical workshops, where they are provided with tools for:
- Identify and prevent toxic relations,
- Make a responsible use of the social networks and improve the family dynamic.
These tools have been put into practice through various activities, such as workshops for teenagers and training sessions for fathers and mothers. These initiatives have been enriched with outings to the park, designed to promote healthy habits and strengthen the emotional well-being of all participants.
The program has counted with the support of the **Department of Social Inclusion, Youth, Family and Equality of the regional government of Andalusia**, whom we thank for their collaboration to make it possible for this initiative. Thanks to your support, progress has been made in the construction of a more egalitarian society, free from violence and with family ties and social solids within the gypsy community.
