Making healthy food choices and to strengthen its social commitment

Between may and December of 2024, in our offices in Malaga and Granada, we held the program "Do what you can : Prevention and youth Participation ", making a positive impact in the lives of 35 young people at risk and/or social exclusion. Through A variety of educational strategies and awareness-raising, such as: preventing the consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco, and to promote the integral development of the participants.

Young people between 15 and 18 years, were equipped with tools to face the risks of substance use and strengthen their self-esteem.

Through dynamic experiential and participatory, the teens learned:

  • The importance of making healthy choices
  • The risks of the consumption of addictive substances

In addition, the program featured the Classroom Family for Fathers and Mothers, a space for the training and guidance designed to strengthen the communication and the accompanying in the development of their children, providing tools for education based on support and confidence.

Beyond prevention, we encourage active participation and the social integration of young people. Throughout the program, had the opportunity to get involved in volunteering within the entity, reinforcing their sense of belonging, responsibility and social commitment that will help them for their personal and professional future, thus building a more positive and active role in society.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Health and Consumption of the Board of Andalusia   your support in this project, which allows us to continue reaching out to more young people and providing them with opportunities for growth and development.
