We trained over 100 volunteers
INPAVI Malaga has successfully completed the “Strengthening programme of Volunteer work: training, monitoring and promotion of solidarity actions” carried out from February until November 2024, thanks to the support of the Area of Citizen Participation, Migration, External Action, Development Cooperation, Transparency and Good Government of the Excmo. City of Malaga.
From INPAVI, we value the importance of having people to anonymously want to devote time, effort, enthusiasm and commitment to contribute to the common goal of improving the lives of people and therefore, we take our commitment to the strengthening of voluntary action, key to the successful development, efficiency and effectiveness of all the work that we do.
As part of the response to the social need to do something “practical” for families in situations of social exclusion and/or vulnerability, we have reflected our commitment to volunteerism through these 3 lines of action:
- Education and training
We have given a basic training 20 new people volunteers with the aim of providing them with tools and strategies for working in a team, and raise awareness of the working methodologies of INPAVI. A workshop based in the know, in the know and do at the be.
In this way, in addition to strengthening the values of solidarity that promotes the entity, we encourage you to volunteer to become an agent of social transformation in their immediate environment.
- Momentum of Voluntary Action and monitoring:
Thanks to this program, we have been able to train, care for and accompany a total of 100 volunteers, offering them tracking and monitoring according to the tasks that have been carried out in accordance to his needs, talents, and expectations.
- Promotion of Good Practices – Annual Day Of Volunteering:
Due to the natural disaster caused by the Dana on the 29th of October 2024, from Integration To the Life we changed the format of “annual Day of Volunteering”, transforming it into an emergency plan to help the families and victims of malaga. Therefore, our volunteer moved to the peoples of Bells and Cartama to help with cleanup, reconstruction and organization of the logistics required for the delivery of first-aid equipment such as feeding, personal hygiene products, warm clothing, etc
From INPAVI, we want to emphasize and highlight the high percentage of people who have been (or currently are) the beneficiary of the entity, who not only receive support, but also decide to get in the gap every day for the people who need help, to collaborate with the society, while being sensitive to the vulnerable people around you through your actions, participatory and engaged.
And you, do you want to help others? See it become a volunteer!
