Founder INPAVI
Director General INPAVI International

“Take a hand” is the phrase with which we recognize that we can to help, “lending a hand” to which the circumstances of life have been placed in a position of vulnerability.

The phrase “Take a hand” will also be sent to the society in general, because we believe that we all need to help others “lending a hand”.

The Mission that we are pursuing from INPAVI is to provide a COMPREHENSIVE support that promotes CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION two groups in great need:

1. Those individuals and families who are suffering and who are at risk or affected by problems such as poverty, exclusion, addiction, violence, loneliness...Preventing them from having a normalized situation in his life, suffering from conditions that would have a solution allowing himself to “lend a hand”, starting with the area of health care, but continuing to the field of educational, emotional, family, work, etc...

2. Those who having enough, and more, they do not take time to do something for others, suffering from many ailments that would have a solution if you look at your environment and “take a hand” to others.

From Integration to Life, “take a hand” to the most disadvantaged out of the “poverty”, but also “take a hand” to the society in general, to assume its commitment and responsibility to stand in the gap on behalf of others; being selfless service the means to get out of the “misery” in which is involved the single: “Live for yourself”.

There's nothing more discouraging and hopeless than to see a person to destroy another person, and there is nothing more encouraging and more full of faith in the human being, which is to see a person “lending a hand” to another person selflessly.

Do you need help?, Do you need help?, “Come, take a hand”

“We want to help you, we want to serve you”

Susana Garcia

Technical director INPAVI International

It all began in 1983 when Luis Sagarra with his wife Coralia Peniche founded the church “Center of Christian Life” in Mexico City.

The result of having experienced the love of God, and a profound change in their lives, had a great desire to serve a world to a much-needed offering unconditional support and real to the people most in need. In this way, they wanted to meet in a practical way, the great commandment of the Lord jesus Christ:

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all your mind. You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 22:37-39

They began to see many needs around them, many people suffering in loneliness, poverty, addiction, violence, abandonment... given this, how could you express the love of God to the people without doing something concrete and real? Could not sit still without doing something to help those who are suffering. In this way, decided to stand in the gap for all of them, “lending a hand”.

Started some social aid addressed to street children, poor families, addicts... But soon saw that it is not only necessary to WANT to HELP, but KNOW how to HELP.

Little by little, were developing strategies and models of work that translated to a real help, efficient, and transparent to the society, giving rise to the INTEGRATION of LIFE (INPAVI).

INPAVI is the social arm of the church Christian Life Centre, whose MISSION is to provide an INTEGRATED assistance (welfare), and TRANSFORMATIVE, both those who need help, how to those in need of help to others.

Currently, INPAVI is a non-profit NGO, present in Mexico, Spain, Chile and Canada, independent of any political organization or professional, who offers his assistance to persons without discrimination of any kind, and makes no distinction between its members and/or beneficiaries/os.

INPAVI is composed by hundreds of professionals and collaborators, and more than 1700 volunteers. All these people are committed to our MISSION of giving the best of themselves, and standing in the gap on behalf of the people/families that are suffering, who are at risk for, or affected by problems such as poverty, exclusion, addiction, violence, loneliness... in Addition, they are committed to “lend a hand” to the society in general, for people to assume its commitment and responsibility to stand in the gap on behalf of others, being the selfless service the means to get out of the “misery” in which is involved the only “live for yourself”.

The values on which INPAVI supports his work are several, such as solidarity, responsibility, freedom, social justice, hope, integrity, etc... But, above all, the motivation and the main setting for our work is to GIVE LOVE to the people and offering help without expecting anything in return.

INPAVI may not give you all of the things you need (work, housing, education, etc.), there are so many needs that it would be impossible to cover them all. But if we can help them by giving them tools, and a comprehensive support that will allow them to take steps in the right direction. If we can give support to each member of the family unit so that they can regain hope, and know how to handle the tensions and frustrations in a constructive way. If we can accompany you in your process of change, and get you to see the situation around them from a different angle. If we can help to make better decisions that will speed up your process of change, if we can help raise awareness among businesses, institutions, and volunteer to put in favor of your situation.

In the midst of so much need and inequality that exists in our society, INPAVI says, “YES, WE CAN.” If you change, if you can improve the quality of life, if you can join forces and give the best, if you can continue helping those who need it most... IF HE CAN TRANSFORM!

Now, without the help of people, entities, businesses,... it would Not be possible in our mission. For this reason, we want to say THANK you!

Each one of the volunteers of our organisation: THANK you! Thank you to all the volunteers that you can do this work, thank you for every minute, hour, day, in which you are serving. Thank you for your hard work, thank you for the affection with which you do, thank you for giving without expecting anything in return, thank you for giving the best, thanks for being ALWAYS!

To all the team of professionals and partners that make it possible for INPAVI be a real help, effective and transparent, THANK you!

Finally, and on behalf of all the people who are being helped by INPAVI, we want to thank all those people, institutions and companies that support us and work with various resources, facilities, services... for all of this to be possible. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

In short, INPAVI is a meeting place between those who need help and those who need help. Every action we perform is an opportunity to improve the quality of life of those we serve, and an opportunity where you can serve and help lending a hand to others.

Our motto is “Come... We take a Hand,” and why do you need help? See, we want to help you; do you Need help? Come, I invite you to take a hand to others.
