The adolescents and young people who do not have a clear purpose in life and are unaware of their own value, that do not distinguish the strategies to get out of the problem situation in which they find themselves and unaware of their own resources and potential, they have great difficulties to achieve what they serve.
This is the direct cause for the risk factors increase, leading them to take wrong decisions: addictions, suicide, delinquency, family violence, and school, etc...that bear negative consequences on your future.
This situation is exacerbated when they belong to groups at risk of social exclusion or minorities, social, since usually these groups live in social environments and lifestyles marginal further hinder access to the standardised resources that exist in the society, and, therefore, preventing their social integration.
Our actions give answer to all these questions through the learning of values suitable arriving to transform the lives of young people. In this way we help them to develop as people of utility in our society, with healthy habits and healthy attitudes.
To the extent that reduce risk factors and increase the positive attitudes we can see adolescents and young people taking right decisions and to reach a better future in their lives.
Objectives:
1. To facilitate the processes of socialization and integration of teens and young people that are born in the social and family environment with serious problems of social integration, do not enjoy the equality of opportunity that the rest of the population.
2. Ensure the equal opportunities and access to resources standard of the most disadvantaged sectors.
3. Improve the quality of life of adolescents and young people.
What do we do?
To achieve these objectives in our NGO, we carried out the following projects for young people and teenagers:
- Workshops of Values.
- Support and individual guidance.
- Recreational and cultural activities.
- Program "Value-Art": is a project aimed at the early detection and prevention of violence in all its forms (gender-based violence, school, macho, family...) and other behaviors destructive among adolescents (bullying, addiction to social networks and video games...) through:
- Weekly workshops at the headquarters with an innovative methodology and participatory process that binds the values with artistic strategies such as music, dance, body expression...
- Awareness campaign in schools and colleges offering lectures to the students and teachers. Not only are we an NGO against the bullying, or bullying, but INPAVI goes beyond that. We want to train them in their own classrooms so that they can become mediators, and thus dispose of their lives, any type of violence.
- Camps: summer camps and retreats in rural areas.
- Social Volunteering: we are integrated in actions of solidarity through volunteering.
Value-Art has been awarded in Spain by the Award Social Innovation 2018 by the Obra Social La Caixa.
